This Foredom® high-speed rotary handpiece has a slender, contoured grip for precise and very high-speed work. It features a quick release rotary type chuck. Designed for use with accessories rated for up to 40,000 RPM. The fan-cooled, brush-type continuous duty motor runs cool and vibration-free. The motor is permanently lubricated; and the shielded ball bearings require no lubrication. Measures 6.2" long, with a 5/8" grip diameter, and a 1" motor diameter. This system includes a 2.35 mm (3/32") collet that is easy to install and change with the supplied collet-changing wrench. Power: 30 volts DC; 1.2 amps. Also works with the same HP4-917 Control Unit that comes with Micromotor Kits K.1020 and K.1080.
