The Thompson Lead-Free Opaque Enamel Color 1055 White (2 oz) is a very opaque white undercoat enamel designed for medium-temperature firing. This lead-free formula delivers a clean, bright base ideal for base coats, layering, and high-contrast details on metal clay projects.
Fire range: 1400°F–1500°F on silver, copper, gold, and low-carbon steel. It is a medium-temperature, medium-expansion enamel suitable for use with fine silver clay, copper clay, or gold clay. This enamel provides excellent coverage with minimal thinning and consistent results.
