The 3M Sanding Band ALO 1/4x1/2in 240 Grit is a resin bonded band designed for pre-polishing ferrous or non-ferrous metal alloys. This softer abrasive delivers controlled material removal and a smoother finish when paired with drum arbors. Use at speeds up to 10,000 rpm to maximize efficiency while minimizing heat buildup. Each band measures 1/4 x 1/2 in and comes in a box of 100 for ready-to-use workflow.
Whether you're deburring, blending edges, or refining a high-polish surface, these bands excel on aluminum, steel, brass, copper and other metals. The resin bond resists dulling and maintains consistent contact for a reliable finish throughout the life of the belt.
