This handy kit contains all you need to get started with enameling! It includes the TableTop RapidFire Programmable Pro-LP Kiln (FUR-0064) and the Thompson Enamel Beginner's Kit (BEK-3X).
The RapidFire Pro-LP Kiln offers the ultimate combination of portability, function, and performance demanded by professional artists, at a fraction of the cost of comparative products. This furnace is the ideal solution for jewelry making, precious metal clay firing, ceramics, glaze testing, enameling, glass fusing, and more! It comes complete with a digital control panel, an embedded heating element, a 6" tall x 5" deep x 6" wide firing chamber, 1500 watts of power, plus a wide opening door. And at just 12 lbs, it's light enough to take with you on the go. And, with RapidHeat technology, this kiln quickly heats up 2200��F in as little as 8 to 10 minutes. This furnace will help you manage both time and costs; therefore ensuring that you can focus more on your projects. The RapidFire Pro-LP uses a PID temperature controller with 30 Steps Ramp/Soak. This controller has all of the features of the standard PID controller (except for the manual control mode). This is a dual-display, 1/16 DIN (48 mm x 48 mm) programmable PID temperature/process controller. This controller is for applications where it is desirable to have the set point automatically adjust over time. The dual alarm relay can be activated either by the temperature set point or by program steps. Plus, it can be used to interlock other equipment in the process. Dual alarm outputs made standard at no extra charge. Features a high-brightness, large LED display that can be easily read from a distance. It also includes a manual, technical support, and a limited 90-day manufacturer's warranty. *Please note that due to the nature of raw steel under extreme temperatures, the steel surface will experience tempering and coloration changes over time. So far I’m loving this bench. I’ve had it less than a week but I am impressed not only by the workbench but by the customer care at PMC Supplies. The bench arrived in three boxes that were not too heavy that I needed help going upstairs. There were probably 20 wood pieces and a hefty bag of hardware, but in just about two hours I assembled the workbench myself. The top of the bench was cracked upon opening, which was odd since it was inside three boxes. When I contacted PMC Supplies about this, they offered to replace the top or refund part of my purchase price so I could repair it myself. In any case, the bench and shelf have plenty of room for nearly all my tools. I’ve been able to empty three medium to small tool bags and fully stock the bench. I’ve added a flex shaft mount and tool and I will be adding drawer pulls to the drawers to make them easier to open.
Pros

Cons
Wood is somewhat soft, maybe pine? Doesn’t really matter as any bench will show signs of wear over time.
Holes on shelves are too small for some tools, particularly hammers.
Top was cracked upon arrival but PMC Supplies made it right.
This is the perfect product for my sand casting applications! It packs the petrobond well - and easy to use. Highly recommend!

I have been on the lookout for a more affordable diamond coated tipped tweezers and I have finally found them! I'm not a jewelry maker but I use these for volume eyelash extensions. There is a lash company called Novalash that makes a pair but it is $104 and I couldn't fathom spending that on one pair. I went on the hunt like a hawk to find a pair of diamond dusted tweezers at a more affordable price and found them on your site. Please don't discontinue these tweezers and I would like to know if you are going to carry more straight tweezers with Diamond Coated tips? Thank you PMC supplies!
Great furnace great customer service.
I received the kit in 2 days. Crazy fast. I ran it through a bag of cans to see how it works. I could feed it a can every ±20 seconds. Works great. I'm confident this will be a good addition to my pour process.
This crucible is absolutely worth every penny! Been kicking the heck out of this thing for a year and a half, still rocking. I actually cracked it on the side from a thermal variance (my fault-newbie), and it healed itself again. The vitrification is essentially self healing. I am here to buy another, a larger one, right now.
Great furnace! I’m new to this hobby, so I wasn’t sure about this website or this product but both have been excellent! The furnace has had about 10 fires and other than some discoloration, no real issues. The stone in the bottom broke around the 8th fire but still does the job. This furnace can get hot enough to melt copper EASY. I haven’t tried anything else yet.
Absolutly perfect for brass and aluminum used several times and never have problems looks just like I just took out of the box 5 star
