This set includes the portable PRO-Kiln Propane Melting Furnace, designed to melt around 2 to 5 ounces of gold. It can also be used with silver, copper, aluminum, brass, and other precious metals. Designed with Lid Handle for Easy Lid Removal

• (1) Pair of Stainless Steel Small Ring Tongs: Measuring at 13" in length, these high-density stainless steel tongs can handle the Mini R-9 crucible cups with grooves, as well as crucible cups with a base.

• (2) R-9 Crucibles: Designed with a pour spout for more efficient pouring, as well as an outer groove so that they can be easily handled with our small stainless steel tongs. They are compatible with the R9 or R9D Melting Furnace or the Pro-Kiln Propane Melting Furnace.

• (1) 5/16" x 12" Graphite Crucible Stir Rod: High-density, fine-grain graphite stir rods are ideal for stirring your molten material during the melting process; ideal for using with your crucibles. *Please note that flux may adhere to the graphite material during mixing. Not recommended for use with platinum.

• (1) Package of Anhydrous Borax: A multi-purpose, high-grade and course casting flux often used in melting and refining metals; it aids in lowering melting points of different minerals so your material melts quicker and is easier to pour. Helps draw out impurities or "slag" for cleaner and more pure material, acts as cleaning agent, minimizes gold loss in your slag, and helps keep your material liquefied longer. Also great for seasoning graphite crucibles. Draws out gasses and oxides out of molten metal, such as gold, silver, copper, iron, sterling silver, tin, nickel, and their alloys.

• (1) 1/4, 1/2, and 1 Troy Ounce Multi-Cavity Gold Combo Graphite Ingot Mold: Made from high-density graphite, with a smooth cavity finish. Typically lasts 30+ pours. Designed for easy ingot removal with 10° tapered sides.
