Foredom K.5230-2 Flex Shaft Bench Style Carving Kit - 230 Volts
The 1/6 hp, ball-bearing SR series has added power to help reduce stalling or slowing down under normal workloads. Advantages of running in reverse: left-handed users have more control of the cutting tool; helps keep dust and other debris flying away from right-handed users; alternating motor direction helps to extend the life of certain abrasives. Reverse helps with accomplishing symmetrical grinding and carving techniques and it also makes it easier to back out stuck drill bits. Alternating motor direction makes it easier and faster to polish metals. Motor and speed control carry a two-year limited warranty.

��� M.SRM Motor: Here a bench style version of Foredom��'s 1/6 HP motor has an integrated dial speed control built into its cast-iron base for manual speed adjustment and easy placement anywhere on the workbench. It runs in forward and reverse rotation at speeds up to 18,000 RPM. It combines the most important features our customers expectpower, reversibility, reliability, and versatility all into one motor. It comes equipped with our standard 39" long key tip inner shaft and outer sheath for connecting to any of Foredom��'s interchangeable, quick-disconnect handpieces.
��� Built-in Speed Control: The hand dial is used to adjust and set speed. This manual style control allows you to maintain and return to a desired speed, time and again, by using the motor on/off switch rather than the speed control to power up the unit.
��� H.30 Handpiece: Foredom��'s most popular general purpose handpiece. It features a 3-jaw, geared chuck with a 0-5/32" capacity. Accessory changes are easy with this handpiece using the supplied chuck key. The H.30 is a member of the Foredom�� system of interchangeable handpieces.
��� HPCK-0 Chuck Key in molded plastic handle for changing accessories.
��� AK52 Accessory Kit: 14 piece assortment kit with Typhoon and other carving burs.

So far I’m loving this bench. I’ve had it less than a week but I am impressed not only by the workbench but by the customer care at PMC Supplies. The bench arrived in three boxes that were not too heavy that I needed help going upstairs. There were probably 20 wood pieces and a hefty bag of hardware, but in just about two hours I assembled the workbench myself. The top of the bench was cracked upon opening, which was odd since it was inside three boxes. When I contacted PMC Supplies about this, they offered to replace the top or refund part of my purchase price so I could repair it myself. In any case, the bench and shelf have plenty of room for nearly all my tools. I’ve been able to empty three medium to small tool bags and fully stock the bench. I’ve added a flex shaft mount and tool and I will be adding drawer pulls to the drawers to make them easier to open.
Pros

Shelf has plenty of needed space for tools and storage.

Cons
Wood is somewhat soft, maybe pine? Doesn’t really matter as any bench will show signs of wear over time.
Holes on shelves are too small for some tools, particularly hammers.
Top was cracked upon arrival but PMC Supplies made it right.
This is the perfect product for my sand casting applications! It packs the petrobond well - and easy to use. Highly recommend!

I have been on the lookout for a more affordable diamond coated tipped tweezers and I have finally found them! I'm not a jewelry maker but I use these for volume eyelash extensions. There is a lash company called Novalash that makes a pair but it is $104 and I couldn't fathom spending that on one pair. I went on the hunt like a hawk to find a pair of diamond dusted tweezers at a more affordable price and found them on your site. Please don't discontinue these tweezers and I would like to know if you are going to carry more straight tweezers with Diamond Coated tips? Thank you PMC supplies!
Great furnace great customer service.
I received the kit in 2 days. Crazy fast. I ran it through a bag of cans to see how it works. I could feed it a can every ±20 seconds. Works great. I'm confident this will be a good addition to my pour process.
This crucible is absolutely worth every penny! Been kicking the heck out of this thing for a year and a half, still rocking. I actually cracked it on the side from a thermal variance (my fault-newbie), and it healed itself again. The vitrification is essentially self healing. I am here to buy another, a larger one, right now.
Great furnace! I’m new to this hobby, so I wasn’t sure about this website or this product but both have been excellent! The furnace has had about 10 fires and other than some discoloration, no real issues. The stone in the bottom broke around the 8th fire but still does the job. This furnace can get hot enough to melt copper EASY. I haven’t tried anything else yet.
Absolutly perfect for brass and aluminum used several times and never have problems looks just like I just took out of the box 5 star
I love this furnace, I am very pleased with my purchase, it will be useful for a very long time. If unsure which furnace to get, this one will certainly not disappoint... Have fun!
