The 1/4" x 12" Graphite Crucible Stir Rod is a high-density graphite stir rod designed for stirring molten materials during the melting process. Built from fine-grain graphite, it resists heat and corrosion while delivering steady, uniform mixing in lab and workshop applications.
Designed for precision stirring, this rod measures 1/4" in diameter and 12" long, providing reliable reach for standard crucibles. Its high-density graphite formulation offers excellent thermal stability, minimizes contamination, and supports clean, efficient melting cycles.
Important notes: flux may adhere to the graphite material during mixing. Not recommended for use with platinum.
