10 Kg Propane Metal Melting Foundry Furnace Heavy-Duty

A high temperature, fast melting, gas furnace includes a DFC burner. Burner can work with propane, butane and propane, or butane mix. Made by hand with heavy-duty steel, ceramic wool and refractory to melt most metals, and extra thick refractory for long life and extended use. The interior is fully lined with 1” of ceramic wool, 1” of refractory, it is also coated with special refractory material, which increases forge’s fuel efficiency up to 40% and refractory life up to 50%. Furnace floors are made from refractory cement, providing superior strength and durability. Recommended to be used with our graphite-clay foundry pot crucibles. Suitable to reach temperatures up to 2300°F.

No electricity required!

Uses inexpensive propane (not included).

Heavy-duty steel exterior.

Ceramic and refractory interior.

Fast heating for quick melting times (15 minutes for 10 Kg of brass).

Can handle up to our #8 - 10 Kg graphite-clay foundry crucibles as well as the A10 Salamander crucible.

Furnace Body Constructed of: steel 16 gauge (1.6 mm).
